🪡 Step-by-Step Sewing Instructions

1. Sew Shoulder Seams

Start by stitching the shoulder seams using a flat-felled seam (Kappnaht) for a clean and durable finish.

2. Attach the Sleeves

Insert each sleeve into the armhole, right sides together. Stitch in place using the same flat-felled seam method.

3. Sew Side and Sleeve Seams

With right sides together, sew the side seams and continue down the sleeve seam—again using flat-felled seams for consistency and comfort.

4. Prepare the Collar

Iron a lightweight fusible interfacing onto one collar piece. With right sides facing, stitch both collar pieces together. Trim, turn right side out, and press flat.

5. Create and Attach the Button Loop

Form a small fabric loop according to the pattern markings. This will serve as the top closure at the neckline.

6. Attach the Collar

Sew the finished collar to the neckline of the blouse.

7. Add the Facing

Attach the facing pieces around the collar to give a clean inner finish.

8. Hem the Blouse

Turn up the hem and sew for a neat finish.

9. Hem the Sleeves

Repeat the same process for the sleeves. These wide, dramatic sleeves add volume and elegance to the blouse.

10. Create Buttonholes

Mark and sew 5 buttonholes along the front opening.

11. Sew on the Buttons

Stitch your buttons in place to complete the closure.

💡 Styling Tip

Pair your finished blouse with a statement necklace and a wide belt to cinch the waist, just like the featured image. Add a chic vintage-style cap for a playful, feminine twist.
